Project Objective:

Students will create a collage of both found imagery and photographs they have taken that uses elements and principles of art and design and photoshop layering techniques to convey a meaning or story about a chosen social justice issue. 

Techniques:

Adobe Photoshop techniques: New File, Image Size, Layers, Selection, Text and Fill Tools, Feather, Copy/Paste, Save File, .PSD vs. .JPG File

Concept or Theme:

Students will interpret and discuss how art and visual culture can create awareness for social justice issues, and assess how their own personal perspectives can be visually displayed.
