Identify the question(s) or inquiry that guided your sustained investigation:

Initially, my essential question was: how do people internally view themselves? Then after I did some research, my question changed. How does self-internalization affect how we present ourselves? This question changed because I wanted to give my work a personal touch. I used my personal experiences to help plan for my nal images. My experience will always be different than someone else's, so I hope there are many interpretations of my artwork. Through my revised EQ, I was able to discuss topics like mental illness, social media inuence, and internal struggles with insecurities.

Describe how your sustained investigation shows evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision guided by your question(s) or inquiry:

I started by researching internalization to nd topics to discuss. I practiced collaging images to create cohesive pieces like in #2 and #13. I researched different artist techniques like in Cindy Sherman's photographs of herself. I used this as inspiration to revise my EQ to make it more concise. Next, I experimented with colors in my images to change the mood of the pieces like in #9 and #11. Then, I practiced long exposure and lighting effects to expand on the topics of my EQ. I revised an idea about insecurities to make it less generalized and develop the idea more through digital effect.
